Dystopian Holdings is easily my favorite independent board game company. Granted, they’re pretty much the only independent board game company I’ve had experience with, but that doesn’t change how fantastic Inevitable, their first game, is. Now, their next game, Clownpocalypse, is up on Kickstarter for funding.
Set in a bleak world where humans are beset by clowns, Clownpocalypse is a game for two to four players that sets one player, controlling the clowns and trying to stomp out the remnants of humanity with their giant shoe, against the others, who search for food, shelter, and salvageable materials, fighting off clowns all the while.
At $25 for a set, it seems like a great deal, and there are some even cooler rewards higher up the list. I’m definitely getting in on this, and I hope some of you out there in Internetland will too.
