The Do: Pilgrims of the Flying Temple Kickstarter has ended. It’s been an amazing run, scoring $24,383 out of its original goal of $4,000. Well done! However, it did fall about $617 short of $25,000. If it had reached that level, we would have gotten a cool new letter from Fred Hicks calling on the Pilgrims of the Flying Temple to go to Mars. Letters are awesome because they’re actually the frameworks for the adventures that the pilgrims undertake.
Well, I think Mars is pretty cool, and one way or another, I want to see letters from Mars. That’s why MiniEnt is going to hold its very first contest: CyDonia or Bust! We want to see letters from Mars addressed to the Pilgrims of the Flying Temple asking for help. If you write the best letter, you’ll be getting a PDF of Do: Pilgrims of the Flying Temple when it becomes available for sale. If you already have a copy, we can offer Happy Birthday Robot or some other non-Dresden Files PDF from the Evil Hat store.
Have a look at Letters to Heaven for a better idea of what those letters should be all about. Write up your letter with that in mind, then when you’re done, send contest submissions to contests@minient.net with “CyDonia or Bust!” in the subject. The contest deadline is one week after Do: Pilgrims of the Flying Temple PDF is released, whenever that is.

I’d be all over this contest… except that I already (will) have the PDF of the game.
Also, you should put a link to the Letter writing guidelines, so that people know what is needed of them.
Added. Thanks.
Also updated the prize a little to cover cases like yours.
